Bert Coules

Hello. I'm Bert Coules.

I worked my way through a long series of jobs including librarian, manager of a fringe opera company and radio producer-director before becoming a full time writer and embracing the delights and terrors of being self-employed.

I'm most associated with crime and detective drama on BBC radio but I've also written for TV and the stage and in genres as diverse as science fiction, comedy, romance and historical action adventure.

I also give talks on writing and on Sherlock Holmes.

Somehow or other I seem to have acquired a Wikipedia page and a Twitter feed.
